The months remaining in 2012 are quickly fading away, and the months that have already passed by have left us with memories of a spectacular journey for Victor Micallef, Clifton Murray, Remigio Pereira and Fraser Walters – The Tenors. The beginning of the year found them adding finishing touches to their new CD, “Lead With Your Heart,” which will be released in Canada on October 30. (It will be released in the U.S. in January 2013.) It’s hard to say who is more excited about the new CD – the guys or the fans! But all were equally disappointed when their record company made the decision to delay the release of the CD by nearly six months. “Lead With Your Heart” was released for pre-order on October 9 and in less than two weeks it reached #2 for most popular items in music on Canada’s Amazon web site. Tenors fans have waited what probably feels like a very long time for this new project, and it promises to be worth the wait.

In the meantime, the boys kept an incredibly busy schedule, traveling to places such as Monte Carlo and Czesky Krumlov for concerts. And while most eyes around the world were trained on athletes in London for this year’s summer Olympics, The Tenors were able to divert many of those eyes to their representation of their home country’s athletes by performing at various events and releasing their version of the inspiring song, “I Believe.” They were also on-hand to help Her Majesty, the Queen, Elizabeth II, celebrate her Diamond Jubilee with a performance at Windsor Castle.

Ever mindful of those in need and less fortunate, The Tenors shared their time and talents with a number of charities including the Richmond Hospital Foundation Gala, the New York Revlon Run/Walk for Women, The Race to Erase MS gala in Los Angeles, the David Foster Foundation Miracle Concert, among others. And at this year’s We Day event in Toronto, the quartet performed with up-and-coming rapper Young Stitch.  They even performed at the Dove Awards, which recognizes outstanding achievement in the Christian Music industry.

In addition to the new CD, The Tenors recorded another video special, also called “Lead With Your Heart” at the brand new Smith Center for the Performing Arts in Las Vegas. The special was recorded in August and will start airing throughout North America on PBS stations in December. (All airdates have not yet been confirmed so please check your local listings to see if the special will air where you live.)

And if that isn’t enough, The Tenors are on their way to making even more wonderful memories as they have just begun a 10-day promotional tour in Canada, making stops in Halifax, Winnipeg, Montreal, St. John’s, Toronto, Calgary and Vancouver. They’ll be making appearances on many local and national media programs in each city, and links will be posted on The Tenors web site. Holiday concerts are just around the corner and almost two-dozen additional tour dates in Canada have already been announced for 2013. And fans in the United States will soon find out which cities they’ll be visiting next year for their American tour.

There is so much more to come and Tenors Fans Forever will have to just stay tuned. But it could be prudent to buckle up for an exciting ride. After what The Tenors have already accomplished, you can be certain, you ain’t seen nothing yet!
